PG&E Pop-Up Green Cafes
PG&E wanted to salute San Francisco for being one of the greenest cities on earth. I produced a series of Pop-Up Cafes featuring custom made, beautifully crafted furniture made by local artists using materials recycled from the SF city dump as well as indigenous plants. Thousands visited and enjoyed free Blue Bottle coffees while perusing a book we created detailing the furniture’s creation. The cafes popped up weekly in neighborhoods from Noe Valley to the Financial District. My favorite, documented below, was in the Tenderloin where we partnered with the Hood Games Skate Boarding event.
